Our client is seeking an ambitious Senior Construction Scheduler ready to take the next step in their career! In this role, you will be integral in managing programs for leading power utility companies and implementing efficient Project Controls practices. The role includes being the project manager's assistant in their day-to-day tasks to achieve the program's deliverables.
Roles & Responsiblity
You'll be responsible for navigating project control challenges at various levels, including program and project, showcasing your specialized skills.
You'll build and analyze schedules, help identify critical paths, and communicate your findings effectively.
Play a key role as the project manager assistant is to ensure that you deliver the planned milestones.
You'll review and analyze project and program cost and risk aspects. Provide cost control and forecasting with a high level of accuracy if required.
Skills
A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in P6, Critical Path Methodology (CPM).
Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems, specifically with CPI, SPI, and S-Curves metrics.
Knowledge of Cost Management principles.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding the power industry, particularly high-voltage Transmission and Distribution (T&D).
