In retail stores, our gStore end-to-end store execution and retail management solution supports omnichannel fulfillment, real-time replenishment, intelligent workforce tasking and more. Key Responsibilities:

• Support both sales and project delivery with client-facing consultancy and pre-sales engagement. Attend customer site visits, workshops, and lead and facilitate client engagement to develop solution design.
• Collect customer data and perform statistical analysis; articulate key insights from data analysis through data visualization that will guide the concepting phase of the solution design cycle
• Collaborate with GreyOrange Sales, Delivery, and Products teams along with Client engineers and operators identify viable solution alternatives
• Create specific solutions sets by optimizing existing processes at customer sites and leveraging GreyOrange robots/hardware and software capabilities to realize the full potential of the proposed solutions
• Understand functions of warehouse managements systems (WMS), warehouse execution systems (WES), and warehouse control systems (WCS) and how these systems are integrated and utilized in fulfilment operations.
• Articulate the value drivers of the GreyMatter™ Software Platform in the context of its ability to orchestrate inventory, people and robots using AI and machine learning.
• Apply industry vertical, supply chain, and warehouse; distribution expertise to build and articulate value proposition and business case/ROI.
• Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of deliverables required for a sales pursuit, including but not limited to data analysis, solutions tools, AutoCAD layouts, simulations, bill of materials (BOMs), and proposal presentations.
• Provide cross-functional program management of all sales pursuits, including the facilitation of internal approval cycles (Solutions Reviews and Deal Reviews).
• Facilitate project transition to delivery phases once new business is awarded. Manager of Solution Design role will lead and facilitate solution understanding to project management delivery team and remain with the project, as a team member, until deployment is in steady state.
• Lead and facilitate design and integration workshops with customer teams.
• Proactive collaboration with Products team to share market and customer needs contributing to the R&D roadmaps. Engage the industry through conferences and other trade events.
• Become a subject matter expert inside key market segments and channels (Retail, E-commerce, Grocery, etc

Key Requirements:

• 5-10 years of client facing pre-sales & delivery experience in B2B/enterprise companies,
• Experience in the field of distribution center solution design, supply chain consulting, 3PL, industrial engineering, material handling, and/or automation
• Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills; Experience in preparing and presenting oral and written presentations to upper level management and customers
• Highly proficient in warehousing process design/re-design and creation of engineered labor standards using MOST
• Experience with WMS, WES and WCS. Has through understanding of functions and role of each
• Proficient in 2-D AutoCAD layouts and material handling specification
