Position Summary
Centre Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions tailored to our customers' business requirements. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, assessing current systems, and overseeing implementation teams. The role involves collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, creating effective designs, and supporting project implementation and configuration.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with sales and IT consulting teams to identify and qualify business opportunities.
Build consultative relationships with customers, serving as a trusted technical adviser.
Assess existing systems architecture and recommend improvements.
Evaluate the business impact of technical decisions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures using best practices.
Articulate technological solutions and act as a thought leader on key developments.
Prioritize customer technical requirements and advocate for solution enhancements.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, system administration, or IT infrastructure design.
Proficiency in public and private cloud solutions, Microsoft Office 365, and datacenter technologies.
Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco networking, VMware, or similar fields.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Work Environment
Primarily climate-controlled office environment with minimal safety hazards.
Occasional after-hours work may be required for patches, upgrades, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Moderate noise level in the work environment; occasional local travel required.
