We are currently recruiting for a service technician at our Jacksonville, FL, USA office.
The service technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our line of products. The service technician will require the individual to handle a variety of tasks as assigned by the Lead Service Technician. The position operates in a professional warehouse environment requiring routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, mobile devices, phones in addition to all service diagnostic tools and reports to the Lead Service Technician.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ year experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment, and Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Test or calibrate components or equipment, following manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques, using hand tools, power tools, or measuring devices
Inspect and test malfunctioning medical or related equipment, following manufacturers' specifications and using test and analysis instruments
Determine overall condition of machines through inspections
Restore equipment to working order
Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work
Troubleshooting breakdowns with customers and our sales force
Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective parts, such as motors
Plan and carry out work assignments, using blueprints, schematic drawings, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, or liquid or air flow sheets, following prescribed regulations, directives, or other instructions as required
Support the warehouse team with inventory and maintenance activities in the warehouse
Your Skills & Experience – Do You Have What it Takes?
Essential :
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have hands-on experience with common hand tools, jigs and basic test equipment
1+ year experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
Experience with common office computer applications, e.g., MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with and experience in MRP/ERP systems for labor and inventory management
Desirable:
Technical courses, Associate or bachelor’s in applied science/engineering or related field is highly desirable
Experience in medical device manufacturing and servicing
Fluency in Spanish
