About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD, have over 15 years of professional experience, including significant tenure at a FAANG company, and demonstrate expertise in AI and Machine Learning. This role demands a tech-agnostic mindset, ensuring flexibility and innovation across various platforms and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy:
• Lead and inspire a team of engineers to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with business objectives.
• Oversee the engineering department's daily operations and ensure timely project delivery.

• Technical Expertise:
• Guide the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning solutions.
• Ensure the adoption of best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain a tech-agnostic approach, promoting the use of the best tools and technologies for each project.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science strongly preferred
• 15+ years of professional experience in engineering, with a significant portion at a FAANG company.
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering large-scale projects.
• Deep expertise in AI and Machine Learning technologies and methodologies.
• Tech-agnostic approach with a willingness to adapt to various technologies as needed.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely and manage a distributed team effectively.
