Job Description:
As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process of vertical ground-up projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and manage all on-site activities, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up vertical projects.
Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
Ensure all work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to assess progress and address any issues.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and logs.
Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction promptly and effectively.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on ground-up vertical projects.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale commercial or residential projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in construction management software and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.
