Position Summary:

Lead the Manufacturing Engineering Department in the planning and execution of projects, with a focus on cost reduction through new equipment technologies and automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, manufacturing, and equipment maintenance.

Primary Position Duties:

• Lead the engineering team through planning and execution of new equipment installations.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce labor costs.
• Oversee all manufacturing engineering projects and collaborate on cost reduction activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve established corporate goals.
• Management of departmental resources.
• Provide support for maintenance and manufacturing activities.
• Adhere to all Quality Management system procedures.
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and packaging groups.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, or related preferred).
• 10+ years of professional experience working in an automated manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, managing teams of engineers.
• Experience and proficiency with automated plastic injection molding machines.
• Practical use of CAD design software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
