Role Overview

As a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, enhancing, and continuously refining our forecasting and budgeting processes. About The Team

Joining the Finance & Accounting team, you'll collaborate with professionals specializing in FP&A, Accounting, and Business Intelligence. Our team is dedicated to financial reporting, transformation, budgeting, headcount planning, and detailed financial analyses. Responsibilities

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in completing and managing quarterly forecasts, Annual Operating Plans, and 3-Year Plans.
  • Collaborate closely with budget owners to develop and maintain detailed revenue, cost, and expense forecasts.
  • Maintain Cash Flow and Balance Sheet forecast models.
  • Month End & Reporting:
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
  • Conduct variance analysis of actual versus budget/forecast and reconcile internal accounts.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly/annual results to department heads.
  • Performance Management:
  • Create and deliver reporting and analysis of financial results, providing insights to functional leaders.
  • Assist in driving the monthly Financial Review Process, reviewing results and forecasts with stakeholders.
  • Support the development of materials for management reviews and meetings.
  • Decision Support:
  • Develop business cases and conduct ROI analysis for proposed projects.
  • Maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical and strategic support to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's/MBA/CPA preferred.
  • 3-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Business Analysis, or Corporate Accounting.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and corporate finance concepts.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Suite equivalents.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Workday Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, or Anaplan.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present financial information to C-Suite and Department Leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution.

Location: San Francisco or Austin, TX (preferred), open to remote work.
