Job Description: As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing lease agreements in accordance with ASC 842 requirements. Your expertise will ensure the company remains compliant with lease accounting standards while optimizing lease portfolio management. Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and analyze lease agreements to ensure compliance with ASC 842 requirements.
• Maintain and update the lease accounting system, ensuring accurate and timely recording of lease data.
• Prepare and review journal entries related to lease transactions.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of lease accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and real estate, to gather necessary lease information and ensure accurate reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to lease accounting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding lease transactions and balances.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance lease accounting processes and controls.
• Monitor changes in lease accounting standards and provide guidance on their implications for the company.
• Provide training and support to junior team members on lease accounting topics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lease accounting, with a strong understanding of ASC 842 requirements.
• Proficiency in lease accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
