Kavaliro is seeking a highly dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Project Delivery to lead and manage our IT infrastructure initiatives. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing a significant annual capital budget and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects across multiple medical and administrative facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Healthcare IT, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of strategic project management and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of seasoned Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to build highly effective teams.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee a multi-million annual budget.
  • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to maximize project delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and monitor budget plans to support IT infrastructure projects.

Project and Program Delivery:

  • Manage the delivery of IT infrastructure projects within hospitals, medical office buildings (MOBs), and administrative spaces.
  • Lead the migration of all sites on and off-site.
  • Ensure timely and successful completion of over 500 projects annually.

Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement strategies to support flexible work environments and collaborative office engagements.
  • Represent IT on cross-functional committees to drive enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of templates, guidelines, and implementation of MS Project Online for managing the project portfolio.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a strategic IT partner for clinical service delivery leaders and facility operation leaders.
  • Facilitate governance and manage relationships with stakeholders to support facility-based initiatives.
  • Communicate complex technical issues in a way that business leaders can easily understand.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in Healthcare IT, with a focus on project and program management.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex programs and delivering outstanding results.
  • Strong budget management experience, overseeing large capital and operating budgets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • PMP and LEAN certifications are highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare operations, clinical technology, and IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions and drive strategic change.
