The opportunity
The Content Team at TechnologyAdvice is focused on driving overall content strategy, with the goal of helping B2B professionals research and select the correct technology solution for their business, at all stages of the research process.
As the Senior Director of Content, you lead and coordinate editorial strategy across a large and complex portfolio of brands, leveraging an experienced team of next level leaders, and collaborating with internal business customers as we develop and enhance our portfolio of B2B tech-focussed digital publications.
You are a thorough, passionate, creative, resourceful, and proactive people leader with significant experience in the world of business technology and digital publishing. You relentlessly search for ways to optimize processes, remove obstacles and develop your direct reports.

What you'll do
Lead a talented team of Directors of Content and Managing Editors who own our portfolio of brands
Own and execute against editorial strategy across the portfolio, establishing best practices while allowing the value proposition of each brand to stand apart
Drive accountability for production and quality assurance metrics across our portfolio
Collaborate across Audience Development, Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Operations Teams to support their content creation needs and ensure consistency of messaging across the company
Provide mentorship and guidance to editorial leaders, instilling best practices across the team
Who you are
At least 5 years of management experience in a publishing role or team
At least 7 years of digital publishing experience
Proven ability to determine editorial scope and direction over a large single web brand or a portfolio of brands within a publishing group
Demonstrable project management experience
Self-starter: somebody who has a positive attitude and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build warm, long-lasting relationships with contacts at B2B SaaS firms and help them promote their brands
High attention to detail to ensure content is thoroughly fact-checked and accurate
Excellent analytical skills to interpret traffic and performance to draw suitable recommendations on future content
Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
Basic understanding of content SEO

Salary Range
TechnologyAdvice seeks to hire top-tier individuals across the world and intends for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision.
Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
Annual pay range
$140,000—$160,000 USD
