Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr Director, HR & Employee Relations Partner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking HR leader with a deep understanding of the financial services industry, capable of driving HR strategies that support the overall business objectives. As the Sr Director, HR Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing expert guidance on human capital management, organizational development, and employee relations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's business goals and support growth initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change, talent management, and leadership development programs.
  • Provide strategic counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure the company is positioned for future success.

2. Employee Relations and Performance Management:

  • Oversee the management of complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Advise on performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Implement and monitor employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.

3. Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract top talent and ensure a robust onboarding process that supports new hires’ integration.
  • Develop retention strategies to retain key talent, including career development programs and recognition initiatives.
  • Analyze turnover metrics and develop action plans to address areas of concern.

4. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and other employment-related requirements.
  • Manage HR-related risk by conducting regular audits, implementing best practices, and providing training to managers on compliance matters.
  • Lead investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.

5. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Champion DEI initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace that values diversity and equity.
  • Develop and implement programs that support diverse hiring practices, employee resource groups, and inclusive leadership training.
  • Monitor and report on DEI metrics to measure progress and impact.

6. HR Metrics and Analytics:

  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on workforce trends, turnover, and other key metrics.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track HR performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously assess and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in strategic HR management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical, business-focused manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
  • Workday experience a plus
