Bumble Inc. is seeking a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to support our family of apps. This role is crucial in driving engagement and revenue growth among key customer segments, including women, millennials, and divorced daters. You will lead the experimentation roadmap for retention and revenue, ensuring our growth goals are met and surpassed.
As the consumer champion, you will deeply understand our audiences and leverage insights to create impactful customer marketing strategies. You will translate technical innovations into compelling messages that resonate with our users. As a cross-functional leader, you will drive go-to-market strategies to bring our features and campaigns to life, promoting awareness, engagement, and lifecycle optimization.
The position will be based in New York or Austin, Texas and will report to the Director, Global Growth Product Marketing for Bumble Inc..
What You'll Be Doing
Own Retention and Reactivation Campaigns: Lead the end-to-end process of retention and reactivation campaigns, including briefing, development, segmentation, and execution to drive significant business impact
Strategic Planning: Develop and lead Bumble’s in-app campaign planning and experimentation roadmap
Market Positioning and Messaging: Build market positioning and messaging strategies, collaborating with the Creative Studio to produce top-tier marketing content
Segmentation Strategy: Create and implement segmentation strategies to personalize messaging for diverse consumer audiences
Lifecycle Experimentation: Develop and deliver lifecycle experimentation and retention strategies to uncover new member and revenue growth opportunities
Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead and coordinate global go-to-market efforts to support product-led and culturally contextual campaigns
Audience and Channel Insights: Partner with BI teams to uncover audience and channel insights, testing new hypotheses to unlock growth opportunities
Cross-Functional Project Management: Lead complex cross-functional projects, managing stakeholders across Product, Marketing, PR, Creative, Analytics, and Revenue teams
About You
Proven Marketing Experience: 5-7+ years of consumer-facing marketing experience, leading end-to-end campaigns and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Marketing Operations Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing operations, including campaign management, data analytics, and marketing automation platforms
Ownership of Business Metrics: Ability to take ownership of key business metrics across growth and revenue, working in a highly analytical, KPI-driven environment
Growth Strategy and Lifecycle Expertise: Deep understanding of and experience with growth strategy, lifecycle experimentation, and CRM channels and platforms
Targeting and Segmenting: Proven track record in identifying and targeting multiple customer segments with bespoke campaigns and growth strategies
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate conceptual initiatives into detailed operating plans for execution across multiple internal teams
Hands-On Management: Willingness to roll up sleeves and collaborate with teams in a highly matrixed environment
$115,000 - $157,000 a year
Base Compensation Range: $115,000 - $157,000. For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location. This position is also typically eligible to participate in our short- and long-term incentive programs. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Unlimited Paid Time Off Policy.
