Digitalis Commons United States

Digitalis Commons is a non-profit organization that advances frontier-advancing, scalable solutions poised to have an outsized impact on important problems in health and health care.  We have a passion for change-makers seeking to build innovation into the white space within the health science ecosystem and we support them using a blended strategy of business consulting, catalytic investment, and direct development of technology and services.

The Digitalis Commons Partnership Program provides direct support to philanthropic and public  funders as they transition early-stage health technologies from concept to patients. Our foundational partner is the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), a US government agency that provides research funding to support transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all (see portfolio of existing programs).

We are seeking a Senior Commercialization Lead to join our team. In this role, you will have two primary responsibilities.  First, you will lead the development and management of the  Digitals Commons eXpert-In-Residence (XIR) network.  One of our key assets, the network is composed of a community of senior experts from across the fields of life science and healthcare innovation who work with us to mentor clients, represent us across the community, and ensure that we have rapid access to necessary expertise from across the life sciences and health service sectors. We are looking for a creative individual who will develop the expert network as a product that can be matured to both meet our clients’ needs and support the Commons in achieving strategic goals.

Second, you will directly partner with a portfolio of clients to support them as they advance health-focused innovations from concept to investment-ready state. You will use your business knowledge and innovation skills to mentor each client in the development and performance of a commercialization strategy. Your goal is to ensure that technically-successful programs are able to successfully exit from the program.
