Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires a blend of business acumen and analytical expertise, along with exceptional problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be tasked with enhancing the quality and efficiency of our business processes by leveraging data-driven insights to recommend strategic and operational improvements. Your work will influence key business decisions across multiple departments including finance, operations, sales, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather business requirements. Develop comprehensive understanding of business needs and pain points.
  • Process Mapping and Analysis: Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Create detailed business process models and workflow diagrams using industry-standard tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, compile, and analyze data from various internal and external sources. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau to support business decisions.
  • Solution Design and Implementation: Propose and design practical solutions to improve business processes, reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve operational excellence. Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement these solutions effectively.
  • Change Management: Support the organization through change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions by managing stakeholders’ expectations and communication. Facilitate training sessions and create documentation to assist users in adopting new systems or processes.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously improve business practices.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CBAP, PMP) are beneficial.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a business analysis role, with proven success in project management and process improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with SQL databases and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of ERP systems or CRM platforms like SAP or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff. Proficiency in preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong facilitation and negotiation skills, capable of managing stakeholder expectations and mediating compromises.

Compensation

  • Salary: The base salary for this position typically ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and company size.
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonuses are available, which can add a significant percentage to the total compensation package.
