Role Summary:Perform contract review and negotiation for various agreements including M&A transactions. Able to build training materials and perform quality checks (QC) and provide feedback to team members based on project guidelines and client instructions.
Responsibilities And Duties
Negotiate complex agreements, NDAs and other M&A documents based on client guidance
Perform QC based on project guidelines and client instructions
Build training materials and provide feedback to team members
Help project Manager to create project specific documentation and guidelines
Work as a team member and maintain personal records of work done
Contribute to process improvement ideas and actively participate in process improvement initiatives
Manage client timelines and ensure SLAs (turn around time, Quality) are met individually
Required Skills/Abilities
Ability to read and understand highly complex contractual language to identify and flag client risks and suggest mitigation in lieu of client’s playbook
Experience in NDA and M&A Contract Review
Positive attitude
Quick learner and adaptive to any process change in a minimal time period
Flexible to work in rotating shifts
Ability to comprehend questions and respond appropriately (writing and verbal)
Knowledge of MS Office – Word including redlining and document comparisons
Logical thinking and good decision-making abilities
Work independently, self-learning attitude, disciplined, sincere and need less supervision
Responsible for compliance with ISO standards and other confidentiality
Education And Experience
Attorney or Legal Degree with 3-5 years’ experience of contract negotiation, , reviewing, and drafting.
Salary:
$60k to $83k
