🎬 Lights, Camera, Action! 🎬 Get ready for the second season of our Alternativa Film Project! 🌟 The Alternativa Film Awards are back, shining a spotlight on emerging filmmakers and the power of cinema to drive social change. Following our successful inaugural edition in Kazakhstan, we’re bringing the magic to Indonesia this November 2024. This year’s awards will feature a festival showcase with public screenings of all shortlisted films, celebrating both artistic merit and social impact. Submissions open from 17th June to 18th August 2024. Filmmakers from across Asia can submit feature films, documentaries, animation, and hybrid films, with a special focus on short films from South East Asian countries. An international jury will judge the entries, awarding a total prize fund of $100,000, with $20,000 for each winner in the full-length categories and $10,000 for each short film winner. Imagine a tech conference, where over 40,000 innovators, professionals, and companies converge to shape the future of global technology. That’s Collision Conf in Toronto, a whirlwind of ideas, networking, and innovation. Our President and Deputy CEO, Mark Loughran, was right in the thick of it, sharing in two insightful panels.
