Senior Accountant

Vaco is working with an industry-leading manufacturing and distribution company that is looking for a Senior Accountant because of company wide growth. This role will play a pivotal part in the day-to-day and month-end accounting activities and will have a lot of interaction with senior level accounting executives. This person will "wear a lot of hats" and will help support accounting, tax, budget, and financial reporting functions. Key duties will include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations. Other areas of focus will include managing monthly journal entries and schedules for multiple entities and helping to oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for several entities.

This person will also help manage the accounting process for multiple entities, funds, and a portfolio of projects. The portfolio accounting work will include financial reporting, management of cash flows during the construction phase and billing, invoicing customers, paying vendors, and other related duties. In addition, there will be a heavy emphasis on recording related revenues, deciphering, and managing cost of goods sold, and reporting on KPIs and established trackable metrics.
