Dive Wailea is a SCUBA training facility located at the luxurious Grand Wailea Resort in the beautiful Wailea, Maui. Located on the pool decks of the resort, we utilize an outdoor classroom and dedicated dive pool, depth ranging from 4 feet to 10 feet to conduct SCUBA courses and training. SCUBA Coordinators work on the desk located at the training facility to schedule all courses utilizing our online booking software.
Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE)
Managing guest reservations both in person and over the phone
Facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs for scheduled activities
Assisting scuba instructors in setting up and breaking down scuba gears
Operating the air compressor to fill scuba tanks and putting tanks away
Assisting in preparing paperwork for various activities
Verifying daily receipts and accurately reporting sales/gratuities
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of Scuba Diving and Snorkeling is highly recommended
Background in customer service with a commitment to delivering five-star service
Willing to work independently while maintaining a high level of service and completing assigned tasks
Basic computer proficiency and eagerness to learn our reservation system
Strong communication skills in phone conversations, email correspondence, and in-person interactions
Willingness to undergo training as a Snorkel Instructor to do snorkel demonstrations in our pool
