Summary
Incumbents of this class frequently participate in the work performed by School Crossing Guards, and in some assignments are required to become involved in situations requiring moderate physical exertion. School Crossing Guard Supervisors will often assume complete charge of City School Crossing Guard operations in the absence of a higher-ranking officer. School Crossing Guard Supervisors work independently in performing regularly assigned duties under the general orders of a Police Sergeant or other higher-ranking supervisor.
