High school graduate GED or equivalent. Duties include escorting children across the street or highway going to and returning from school. Instructs children in the proper crossing procedures; reports any unsafe acts by children and/or motorists that occur at or around their post to immediate supervisor and/or Police Department; must be able to work a split shift/flexible hours, mornings and afternoons. Must be physically fit enough to react to and control any emergency situation for the safety of children and work in sometimes extreme weather conditions. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and must be uploaded onto the online application. All applicants must upload proof of educational diploma/degree or GED onto the online application. This position requires successful passing of a background check and drug screening.
