Our client, an AI-driven software startup which drives innovation in large consumer product and similar companies, is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join their team as a full-time direct hire reporting to their Head of Sales.
This key hire will work directly with the Head of Sales to own a range of sales and marketing operations activities including sales-related client/account and industry research, targeted sales content creation and coordination, meeting scheduling and followup, event coordination, preparation of powerpoints and other sales presentation collateral, and management/coordination of various stakeholders across sales, marketing, engineering, and product. This position will have a strong opportunity for advancement into a Chief of Staff title and scope.
This company's enterprise-grade software platform is used engineers in these organizations to accelerate research and development, enabling them to invent new products and formulations faster. Think of them as the "Salesforce of chemical engineering". This company recently landed their $22M Series A from one of the three largest VCs in the world, and is currently deployed with ~3500 scientists within a $20B leader in the consumer products space for seven figures in revenue.
Responsibilities:
Account-specific targeted content outreach to new and existing clients
Company content, news articles, and 3rd party thought leadership
Lost customer follow-ups
Leverage research such as company reports and news to tailor content and conversations.
Utilize LinkedIn to connect with potential leads - help Head of Sales to follow posts of key targets, then participate, contribute, and comment.
Assist in preparing presentations for internal and sales meetings.
Prepare new/existing client contracts and other key documents
Manage routine emails including follow-ups, thank-you’s, and contacts gone cold
Assist in qualified customer/lead outreach and inquiry responses
Assist with event planning and coordination
Qualifications:
5+ years experience supporting sales and marketing operations as a Coordinator, Associate, Chief of Staff, or similar capacity
Bachelors Degree preferred
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Strong persuasive writing and research skills
Strong experience with Powerpoint
Some basic graphic design experience is a plus
