We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Manager to lead a team of 10-15 Inside Sales Account Managers. In this role, you will drive sales growth by working cross-functionally to define and improve processes for sales enablement. You will collaborate with leadership to forecast sales, set individual sales goals, provide training and insight for growing existing client accounts, close new leads, reengage lapsed accounts, and ensure our sales team exceeds customer expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a thoughtful and trusted leader, inspiring and cultivating a culture of high performance and mutual support.
Drive sales training and optimization initiatives to ensure the team is continuously improving.
Define and execute sales enablement initiatives that improve close rates, increase the team’s efficiency and effectiveness, and proactively address any obstacles to success.
Set annual sales forecasts and individual sales goals, managing the sales and marketing budget necessary to achieve these objectives.
Work closely with operations, inventory, and IT fostering high levels of cross-functional communication with a proactive approach to ensuring the team is set up for success.
Establish key performance metrics and implement the necessary reporting mechanisms to create high accountability and transparency across the team and organization.
Partner with leadership to develop reporting and analytic tools that enable data-driven decisions and provide key insights to the sales team.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum of 5 years in a professional sales role, with a [reference for at least 2 years of sales management.
Effective communicator skilled at collaborating across departments and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong background in sales performance metrics and a data-driven mindset
Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, , onboarding, and optimizing Account Managers.
A history of working in a hyper-seasonal business model is preferred.
Highly proactive and adept at self-managing, with a strong ability to solve problems.
