PetDesk is a leading provider of advanced VoIP/telephony solutions in the veterinary industry. We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer with a technical background and expertise in VoIP/telephony to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive sales growth by providing technical expertise, demonstrating the value of PetDesk Phones's products, and supporting the sales team in meeting and exceeding revenue targets. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience in networking, building, testing, implementing, and supporting telecommunications systems.

Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, possessing in-depth knowledge of our VoIP/telephony solutions and what differentiates us from competitors
Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and develop comprehensive technical proposals and solutions based on customer needs
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase PetDesk Phones's value and capabilities
Provide complete life-cycle project management by establishing and leading project teams, plans, scope, schedule, cost, and communications
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and customization
Train internal teams on our telephony system and associated software
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution architectures, diagrams, and specifications. Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for internal teams and customers
Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process – provide timely support, address concerns, and post-sales technical assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and promote long-term partnerships
Continuously enhance product knowledge and share insights with the sales and product teams to contribute to developing new features and competitive strategies
Lead the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes - responsible for systems analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and deployment, as well as application support for end users
About You:
Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Sales Engineer, preferably in the VoIP/telephony industry. Demonstrated success in technical sales and achieving sales targets
Extensive knowledge of VoIP/telephony systems, protocols, and technologies, including SIP, RTP, PBX, and cloud-based solutions. Familiarity with IP networking, security, and unified communications
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer pain points, propose effective solutions, and address technical challenges. Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and find creative solutions
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to drive successful customer outcomes
Track record of training teams on VOIP and telephony and translating complex technical concepts for internal teams and customers
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding needs and delivering outstanding service
Ability to work independently, under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
