Today we’re adding a brand new category to the RMS Beauty family with the launch of our first-ever fragrance, Scarlet Moon, in partnership with Heretic Parfum Douglas Little. A fragrance wasn’t originally in the trajectory for our product lineup, but after Rose-Marie Swift came across Heretic Parfum and their clean approach to the world of scent, we knew we had to partner with them. Fragrance is one of the most debated topics in clean beauty, a large part because of the “fragrance loophole” that allows companies to hide undisclosed, potentially harmful ingredients in the formula due to a longstanding idea of keeping the formula a “trade secret”. This coupled with the overpowering and overbearing nature of traditional fragrances (Rose-Marie’s reason for not using them in the past) is why we felt it was important to give our community a clean fragrance they could feel confident about using every single day. Scarlet Moon is 100% naturally derived allowing for aromatherapeutic benefits as you wear it. As for the scent itself, the notes include Blood Orange, Violet Leaf, and Japanese Hinoki Wood for a joyous, grounding aroma inspired by Rose-Marie’s favorite city, Savannah, GA.
