Working with a major ENR Commercial General Contractor looking to bring on a new Director of Safety for their Portland Office. The candidate would ideally have a real player/coach mentality that is passionate about promoting the safety culture.
Ideal Qualifications:
10+ years experience running safety in the AEC industry.
Knowledge of Worker's Comp regulations and Department of Occupational Safety & Health rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, or related or combination of experience and degree
Certified in OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid
Technical knowledge of the following: Asbestos exposure, Lead exposure, Flammable storage, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (Hazwoper), Respirator fit training; Equipment, Rigging/Signaling, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Scaffolding, Trench/Excavation, Blood-borne pathogens, Electrical safety, and Flagging
