About us

Hyundai MOBIS forms the parts and service arm for South Korean automakers Hyundai Motor Company, Genesis Motors, and Kia Motors. The company offers chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules; safety products, including airbags, headlights, anti-lock brake systems, and electronic stability control products; steering parts; multimedia systems; UVO systems; injection-molded plastic parts, such as instrument panels, carriers, and bumpers; and steel wheel rims and decks. It also supplies after-sales service parts for vehicles. Concentrating its resources on after-sales parts, module parts manufacture, and parts export, Hyundai MOBIS has firmly established its position as one of the leading auto parts specialist companies in the world. Hyundai MOBIS’s Module Division, of which MOBIS Alabama, LLC is part, has supplied the three major modules, chassis module, cockpit module, and front-end module, to automakers in the just-in-sequence (JIS) system. Participating in the initial stages of a new vehicle development process, Hyundai MOBIS performs research and development of auto-parts, taking into account the specifications for modules, including designing and testing for production applications. Through system integration of modularization, Hyundai MOBIS is contributing to increased competitiveness and in-sequence processing, reducing total weight and the number of parts needed. This allows for easier assembly, effective inventory control, and cost reduction. We supply complete cockpit modules and front and rear chassis modules. We also manufacture bumper assemblies and instrument panels, in addition to shipping Hyundai and Kia Service Parts nationwide from our Redistribution Center. MOBIS Alabama offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability insurance in addition to a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Watch the full video: https://lnkd.in/gPz8Hc4Y The MOBION dazzled audiences at CES this year with its revolutionizing movements; the efforts to bring it on stage was anything but simple. As the very first CES featuring a concept vehicle rather than mockups of the technology, the coordinating efforts were more strenuous than ever before. From development, testing, and promoting, all the way to editing and troubleshooting last minute challenges to perfect the CES showcase, MOBION was the high-maintenance but stunning star of the show. Witness the challenges, teamwork, perseverance, and of course, the triumphs behind MOBION’s big performance. #CES2024 #RedefiningMovement #MOBION #FutureTech #TheOneforAllMobility #HyundaiMOBIS #MOBIS

I'm biased, but of all the stories about Hyundai MOBIS' crab-walking car out of #CES, I think Tim Levin did it best for InsideEVs. Here's how this system works, and more importantly, where it might get a real deployment first: on Kia's new line of electric, possibly autonomous delivery vans. What a fascinating moment we're in with automotive technology:

Equipped with the e-Corner System to allow limitless driving, and the ADAS, LiDAR, and eXterior lighting systems for customized mobility solutions, MOBION demonstrates how our lives can be lived in more convenience. Visitors got a chance to see and experience how movements such as the Zero Turn, Pivot Turn, Reverse Drive, and others transform the paradigm of driving. Additionally, they were presented with a real-life scenario of how MOBION helps passengers when crossing the road through cutting-edge sensor and light projection technology. The slogan “Re-Defining Movement” was exemplified through the collaboration with dancer Kirsten Dodgen. Reinterpretations of MOBION’s movements diversified the showcase to provide an even more picturesque experience. Following the successful debut, MOBIS will be showcasing both public and private showcases at LVCC West Hall Booth 5216. #CES2024 #MOBION #RedefiningMobility #LifeInConvenience #TheOneforAllMobility #HyundaiMOBIS #MOBIS

We’re taking center stage at CES 2024 among other innovators in the future mobility sector, contributing 20 of our IVI, AV, electrification, chassis, and lighting technologies. At this event, we’ll unveil a concept vehicle to provide an immersive experience, specially equipped with groundbreaking tech such as the e-Corner System. The transparent display will be part of a series showcasing the innovative displays of tomorrow. It's expected to improve safety and functionality by displaying information directly on the windshield. The ICCU will also make a highly anticipated appearance, playing a major role in charging and converting energy for EVs. Its connection to Vehicle to Grid (V2G) technology, as well as its capacity at 22kW (beyond the conventional 11kW) offer the industry a mass-produced solution that is far superior to others. With industry-leading tech such as these, our global orders reached $8.57 billion in Q3 of this year. And by steadily diversifying our client base, we continue to set our goals higher.
