Who You Are

You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in retail partnership management, particularly in the consumer goods or e-commerce industry. You have a proven track record of successfully managing Tier 1 retail partnerships and driving revenue growth. Your exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are complemented by your analytical mindset and strategic thinking. You thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at managing multiple priorities, and have a passion for innovation and results.

What You’ll Do

As the Retail Partnership Manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our Tier 1 partnerships with retailers such as Target, Amazon, and PetSmart. Working closely with the VP of Partnerships, you’ll develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies to drive sales, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility. You’ll be the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, managing day-to-day account operations and driving growth strategies. Your role will involve collaboration with various internal teams, market analysis, performance tracking, and regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail partnership management, preferably in consumer goods or e-commerce
• Demonstrated success in managing Tier 1 retail partnerships and driving revenue growth
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
• Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strategic thinking and results-oriented approach
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Partnership Strategy: In partnership with the VP of Partnerships, formulate and execute comprehensive strategies for each retail partner, focusing on sales growth, market share increase, and brand visibility enhancement
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Target, Amazon, PetSmart, and relevant agency partners, serving as the primary day-to-day contact
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with broader business objectives and ensure seamless execution
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, informing partnership strategies and driving innovation
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: In partnership with a Retail Analyst, establish KPIs, track performance metrics, and provide actionable insights for partnership optimization
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate partnership updates, progress reports, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders, facilitating weekly Retail business reviews
