Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) as a Risk Lead for the Chief Technology and Integration officer (CTIO). The Risk Lead will establish and maintain the risk management plan, identify, analyzing and prioritizing risks, collaborate with other OEHRM pillars and sub pillars to track, coordinate and resolve/mitigate the risks, and regularly brief leadership and other team members to keep them abreast of the current risk profile. Experience with Risk analysis and impact assessment. Able to actively facilitate conversations with different POCs from various specialty groups with varying skills, goals, and objectives. Able to clearly articulate and prioritize risk for senior management. Able to lead a team of other risk personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
Department of veterans affairs EHR or any federal experience needed
10+ years of professional work experience
Experience Managing Information Technology Related Projects
Experience with Risk Management
Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
Able to identify, evaluate and mitigate risks
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline, or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred Qualifications
