We are a national manufacturer and distributor of patented chemical technology! This role is open due to a retirement, the new Regional Sales Manager will be walking into a warm book of business. We are looking for specific industry knowledge and sales experience. The role will require an introduction to their current client based located in the Central North parts of the United States.
The Regional Sales Manager will continue to manage their existing customers and build new relationships with similar companies in the area.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
- Manage, guide, and lead a sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Oversee the relationships with key clients in the region, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts in the region and capitalize on them.
- Conduct regular territory analyses to evaluate the efficiency of sales strategies and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform regular cold calling and prospecting activities to generate new leads and customers.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and increase brand presence in the market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role in the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
- Strong knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics.
- Understanding of store operations and experience in territory management and territory sales.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude.
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic business relationships with key clients.
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have the ability to work independently.
