As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading new business development and sales activities within the food and beverage sector in US Region. You will play a key role in managing and growing existing strategic accounts. You will represent AIB International as an industry leader through leadership and involvement with key regional clients and global clients with offices based in the Eastern US region.


The individual must have proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close and uphold our company’s values while leading continued growth and business success.



Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic relationships with new clients based in and around the Eastern US region.
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully initiating and managing the process from start to finish; prospecting to a closed/won opportunity.
  • Deliver compelling, customer-centric sales presentations and proposals to prospects and customers by leveraging data to drive insights and actions.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Partner with the Food Safety functions at AIB International’s headquarters to develop and execute effective sales plans to grow AIB International’s revenue.
  • Leverage industry network and key customer relationships to grow the Eastern US region’s portfolio of services and training capabilities.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding requirements and the associated solutions to expedite customer results.
  • Identify emerging markets & market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitor offerings.
  • Demonstrate an in depth understanding of AIB International’s entire product portfolio and strong understanding of how AIB’s products can meet the needs of the food and beverage industry.

  • Results Oriented: A track record of excellent results in a food and beverage environment; proven ability to sell services. Must be able to hold self and others accountable for operating in alignment with organizational values.
  • Commercial Awareness: High level of commercial awareness and a self-starter. Demonstrate excellent analytical and decision-making skills and have the courage to drive through change in a respectful manner.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional level food industry experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional level client development (sales) or business-to-business marketing.
  • Natural team player and intrinsically motivated.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking.
  • Visionary able to make key decisions that will benefit the company.
  • Ability to travel frequently up to 50% of your time.
