Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead their wholesale division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and team management, with a proven ability to drive growth and meet performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of remote sales associates.
Ensure high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.
Develop and execute short and long-term sales strategies and budget plans.
Monitor and ensure the sales team meets and exceeds performance expectations.
Develop market opportunities through pipeline management and incoming leads.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, distribution, and accounts receivable departments.
Stay informed about industry trends and issues affecting the region.
Utilize technology tools to create actionable sales activities.
Analyze and evaluate opportunities to maximize company growth in revenue and profits.
Provide coaching, training, and motivation to sales associates through individual sessions and weekly meetings.
Conduct customer visits as needed.
Requirements:
5-10 years of sales leadership experience. Ideally in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, or similar industries.
Experience in managing a sales team.
Strong customer service and leadership skills.
Experience in sales training and development.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth.
Ability to travel to various offices and customer locations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
