The Regional Account Director will ensure the Latcha Marketing platform delivers effective and results driven support to the region’s dealers. They oversee sales and service marketing for dealerships in their region.


Latcha is providing a highly advanced marketing platform to dealers on behalf of Mercedes-Benz USA. The platform has built-in campaigns that a dealer may choose to automate on their behalf, using both first party and 3rd party data, depending on the campaign type. The Regional Account Director ensures that the Field Account Managers develop strong relationships with Mercedes-Benz dealers in defined regions across the United States. The regional account teams help the dealership managers (sales and service) by providing marketing consultation for all their business units.


This role reports directly to the Field Account Director. The Regional Director works closely with the Latcha Field Managers, ensuring they are aligned with project objectives and effectively support dealer needs. The position is located in one of five regions across the USA.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Each Regional Account Director will work closely with the Field Account Director to ensure regional strategies and dealer needs are efficiently addressed.
  • RAD’s will have direct responsibilities for dealers in their regions, ensuring personalized attention and support, then reporting results to the Field Account Director.
  • RADs will oversee the Field Managers in their respective regions, guiding their activities and ensuring they meet the needs of the dealers.
  • Become an expert in the MAX platform, programs and marketing journeys
  • Lead consistent flow of communication between Field Account Director, regions, Field Account Managers (FAMs), agencies and dealers. Provide constant feedback and information to Latcha account directors.
  • Track and analyze metrics for the regions, FAMs, and dealers.
  • Lead monthly updates and communications; coordinate with agencies and the region to localize key messages, updates, strategies and media/national advertising plans.
  • Identify and anticipate challenges within the Region’s market.
  • Maximize usage of the MAX marketing platform
  • Assure Mercedes-Benz Service & Parts guidelines & rules are followed.
  • Experienced in sales and after sales marketing for automotive dealerships.Must be knowledgeable in the digital landscape of:
  • Dealer Websites
  • SEO
  • Paid Search
  • Display Advertising
  • Social and Reputation Management
  • CTV


Skills and Qualifications

  • A four-year degree and 5-7 years of automotive marketing
  • A commitment to the success of each dealership in your region
  • Prior experience managing direct report(s) preferred
  • Strong familiarity with the digital environment, and experience in developing multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and content creation skills – ability to lead discussions with internal and external leadership
  • Relationship management skills are essential, including the ability to relate successfully to people at all levels of business, both externally and internally
  • Understand client objectives and how they translate into multi-channel campaigns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude with current office technology, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with managing automotive dealer marketing is required
  • Travel required approximately once per month
