Position Overview: In this engaging support role, the Recruiter champions our commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork by:
- Collaborating with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifying and implementing efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Screenings applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Sourcing candidates; outside the box thinking on building candidate pools.
- Scheduling interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Maintaining contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their application.
- Facilitating pre-employment screening and onboarding.
- Collaborating with the hiring manager and the HR team during the offer process, identifying and recommending start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and company policies.
What you bring to the table:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems. Experience with talentReef and ADP a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Foundations of your career:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 1-3 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, or other talent acquisition certification a plus.
What we bring to the table:
- Salary range: $55,000-$60,000. Actual offer may vary from posted hiring range based on location, work experience, and/or education.
