Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Completes initial assessments to establish master treatment goals.
  • Coordinates clinical services while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Identifies therapeutic needs and continuum of clinical care for the clients.
  • Performs psychotherapy, group, and family therapy as needed.
  • Documents all services, attends treatment team meetings, and works closely with inpatient behavioral staff.
  • Facilitates specialized groups using evidence based interventions (CBT, DBT, movement therapy, etc).
  • Must have Bachelor’s level degree in Recreational Therapy, counseling, or similar degree. Must have Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or CTRS certification.
  • Must have Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or CTRS certification. CPI within 90 days of employment.
