About The Role
As a Real Estate Secured Lending Operational Risk Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of real estate lending processes. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing expert guidance and support on operational risk matters within your area of specialization.
Leading risk management activities such as risk analysis, reporting, and action plan implementation.
Analyzing potential operational risks and escalating key risks to appropriate channels.
Supporting the management of financial results and budgeting activities.
Contributing to ongoing operational risk measurement activities through data analysis and reporting.
Establishing and providing regular risk analysis and reporting on operational performance.
Collaborating with business units to analyze and report on operational risk issues and their impact.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business unit management to improve communication on risk management issues.
Participating in regulatory reviews and risk management surveys as needed.
Serving as a subject matter expert on risk matters and providing guidance to business management.
What You Bring
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of related experience in risk management.
Strong project management skills and analytical ability.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven leadership experience in operational risk management.
Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and make recommendations to mitigate risks.
