Title: Quality Manager (Automotive)

Shift: 1st 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000, plus bonus

Industry: Automotive required

Quality Manager Role:

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for assuring consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing effective work systems and validating processes. You will also provide direction and leadership to the quality department to meet company goals and objectives.

Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Achieve quality assurance objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews
  • Provide management direction to other Managers responsible for Quality Assurance, as well as provide leadership, as appropriate, to other managers
  • Participate in customer presentations as necessary, and in developing, reviewing, and carrying out new business implementation plans
  • Support the management of product liability risks and coordinates, as required, the company's response to product liability claims and other major quality failure issues
  • Develop quality assurance plans and validate quality processes
  • Maintain and improve product quality by completing audits and investigating customer complaints
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Ensures the overall soundness and validity of major Quality Assurance projects and project reviews
  • Ensure that departmental requirements of Quality Assurance systems and programs are compliant
  • Responsible for promoting and following through with Quality Philosophy and ensuring departmental objectives are met

Quality Manager Reporting Relationships:

In this position you will report to the Vice President of Operations.

About You:

  • 4 year degree (Engineering or technical preferred)
  • 5 years of experience in Quality Management
  • Automotive industry experience required
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills
  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to process improvement
