To manage the Product Quality Complaints system within the North America and Latam regions to ensure that complaints are reported, recorded, actioned, resolved and closed off with the originator, including hands-on support where required.
To liaise directly with internal and external contacts to support any Quality related issues
To perform, organise and monitor the Supplier Quality Audit process in the regions, including the training of others as required.
To champion the Group initiatives regarding Environmental, Social and Governance that are applicable to suppliers and the awareness of Modern Slavery across the regions
To represent the Group Procurement and Supply Chain function in the region, liaising with key personnel in the regional Operations to maintain strong communication links
Key Responsibilities
To ensure that the Group Quality Strategy is understood and supported by all relevant personnel across their region.
To continually monitor the Product Quality complaints processes including:
Taking the lead in specific investigations
Monitoring open investigations
Issuing a monthly report showing statistics and highlights
To issue regional communications related to Product Quality issues, to include:
Quality Alerts to highlight actions required by their regions, e.g. in the case of a product recall, a requirement to check stock, or a need to inform staff of a specific issue
Change Alerts to communicate conclusions to major product improvement projects
Other general communications related to product quality
To help ensure the RI Supplier Standard adequately reflects the requirements of suppliers for any function that can affect product quality, as well as other key areas, which include Environmental, Social and Governance Modern Slavery, product regulations and contingency planning.
Requirements
Degree level qualified
2+ years experience in a similar role - within Auditing or part of the purchasing/procurement team
Supplier Approvals experience
Ability to travel - US and Mexico - Full driving license and valid passport
Technical background - quality and investigations
Self motivated and ability to work autonimously - you will be working from home
