The purpose of the Quality Director for Vitro is to lead Vitro Automotive US/Poland Quality Organization, for overseeing all quality management efforts and driving change to achieve Quality Excellence with the customers.
Build and execute the regional quality strategy for the US Automotive business through the implementation of robust Quality Management System.
Maintain full accountability for quality performance related to the Global OEM and ARG Automotive business segments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and monitor quality management strategies and programs for Vitro Automotive US/Poland facilities, for OEM and ARG markets.
Document and communicate Vitro Quality vision. Create, document and implement a Quality Operating System (QOS) following a standard cadence with critical internal and external KPI’s.
Develop, implement and evaluate the performance of the Quality management system, to meet and exceed customer requirements and 3rd. party certification standards (ISO/TS/VDA…).
Define the Quality structure and resources to support the implementation of the Quality Management System
Establish with manufacturing and commercial annual quality performance goals, that align the critical KPI’s for the company, customer and the long-term quality vision.
Establish quality KPI’s for all functional groups and Organizational levels that impact the Quality including Purchasing, finance, and supply chain, among others.
Train commercial and manufacturing teams on the quality processes and customer systems. Set expectations for basic quality training for Vitro associates.
Ensure that all products comply with the applicable country regulations.
Promote the improve Quality standards and methods focus on Customer Quality Excellence
Develop strategies to reduce waste during production process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering required
English Speaking required, bilingual in Spanish preferred
10+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of experience in effectively managing and leading teams.
Work in Automotive industry 10 Years as minimum
