Job Description

Applied Biologics is a growing life science company that manufactures and distributes amniotic allografts.

We want to add a Quality Control Technician to our team. Must have a positive attitude, and be a team player!

We are seeking an organized, meticulous and energetic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strongly organized, critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through assisting in internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Position Elements:

  • Assists in maintaining the Quality Management System to include: Quality Improvement Program, Audit Program, Product Inspection, Donor Chart Review, Document Control, Environmental Monitoring
  • Maintains regulatory adherence, accreditation and supplier quality matters and inspections.
  • Assists with all Quality System elements to include: policies, procedures, forms, work instructions, job aids, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with prescribed regulatory and accreditation requirements across the company.
  • Performs product QC, product packaging & labeling.
  • Understanding and proficiency in appropriate American National Standards and AATB standards used in operations.
  • Constant championing of the Quality Culture.

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis (SPC), medical terminology, industry standards, accepted process improvement methodologies and accepted quality standards
  • Understands that this position has exposure to human tissue and potential bio hazardous environments.

Education/Experience:

  • Experience in tissue banking, blood banking, pharmaceutical or medical device field desired
  • Experience in Quality Assurance role preferred.
  • Bachelors level degree in a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
