Piper Companies is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager for an opportunity in Wayne, Pennsylvania (PA), to join a contract research organization conducting Next Generation Sequencing-based QC testing for the development of biotherapies.
Responsibilities Of The Quality Control Manager
Lead and oversee NGS assay applications, experiments, and client studies
Manage laboratory personnel for regulated activities and ensure compliance with global regulations
Drive process improvement and maintain comprehensive records for assay development and study integrity
Represent the group in audits, client meetings, and communications; ensure high client satisfaction and business metrics tracking
Qualifications Of The Quality Control Manager
6+ years of GMP lab experience in the pharmaceutical, med device, or biotechnology industries
Background in molecular biology and sequencing-based applications
High level of communication skills and experience liaising with clients or account management
Experience with NGS (Next Generation Sequencing), contributing to commercial and financial strategies, project management, design of experiment (DOE), and lab supervision/people management is highly desired
MA/MS/PhD in a biological science or related field
Compensation For The Quality Control Manager
Salary Range : $90,000 - $95,000/year
