Role Overview: As the Plant Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in our organization by overseeing the implementation and execution of quality procedures and standards. You will lead a talented team, collaborate closely with operations and technical teams, and drive initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to quality procedures and standards to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
Develop and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Partner with the Operations Manager to standardize quality practices and procedures across the plant.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Quality and Technology teams to identify priorities, develop effective quality tools, and resolve quality issues promptly.
Work closely with the leadership to introduce new formulas into manufacturing and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Lead efforts to introduce and implement new formulas, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality results and exceed established standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field preferred, will consider years of experience in lieu of degree
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within manufacturing
Minimum of 3 years of experience in R&D, product development, quality control/assurance, or operations.
Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.) highly preferred.
