The central marketing team is a group within ManageEngine, dedicated to marketing world class enterprise IT solutions, across 190 countries.


We are seeking a talented, self-motivated and a dedicated PR and content executive to join our media relations team, and work on innovative PR campaigns and strategies.


This role will support various corporate communications functions including content writing, public relations, media relations, analyst, influencer relations and customer advocacy. It offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about each of these responsibilities.


The candidate will have to accommodate overlapping work hours with Indian time zone (IST).


Job Responsibilities:


  • Work with local media - both new and traditional media.
  • Track trending technology and security topics in USA and Canada.
  • Contribute to content creation/ideation for video interviews, chats, podcasts, thought leadership articles, press releases, pitch notes and more.
  • Experience in ghostwriting for executives.
  • Localize our global content (articles, press releases, Q&As) and bring in the regional context. This includes repurposing existing content, reviewing content received from PR agencies.
  • Maintain and nurturing relationship with ManageEngine's media contacts in USA and Canada.


Skills:


  • Research-oriented, and keen understanding of the IT/Technology landscape.
  • Up-to-date with relevant technology trends.
  • Driven, motivated, self-starter who is eager to learn and grow as a corporate communications professional.
  • Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years' experience working in corporate media relations or in a PR agency in the tech sector with existing media contacts.
  • Proven experience writing high-quality blogs and articles.
  • Strategic thinker with creative and detailed executions skills, with an innate attention to detail.
  • Should have a good understanding of our key markets - USA and Canada
  • Existing media relationships.
  • The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
