Made You Feel is seeking an Account Supervisor with 6+ years of consumer lifestyle public relations experience working with clients in a PR agency environment. The ideal candidate will know traditional PR strategies and outlets like the back of their hand, while being up to speed on and excited about the ways in which the media & PR landscape is evolving: Substacks > press releases, podcasts > broadcasts, creators > listicles.

What You’ll Do:

• Research, plan & develop PR proposals and earned media campaigns; set program goals & manage against them
• Manage client & account teams, oversee day-to-day PR activities, lead meetings & project brainstorms
• Craft client & internal correspondence, comms strategy, press materials, new business proposals, etc.
• Build & maintain client relationships; serve as the daily client contact
• Media relations, including creating & driving outreach plans, message development, building & maintaining relationships with press & influencers
• Oversee junior team’s work to ensure quality & consistency; mentor & support team ensuring you & them are constantly developing abilities
• Grow existing business & contribute to the new business process

Who You Are:

• Naturally confident with excellent written, verbal, & interpersonal communication skills that allow you to present ideas in a clear & compelling way
• Excellent project management, budgeting, organization & client management skills, with an almost obsessive attention to detail
• Have proven team leadership and mentoring skills; ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Showcase a strong knowledge of earned media & what it takes to make news, consistently offering teams thoughtful, strategic guidance on pitching efforts to ensure goals are met
• Share a persistent approach to media relations, building strong relationships with press & influencers; extensive experience developing articles, press materials, key messages, placing stories, etc.
• Endlessly curious creative problem-solver with a deep desire to lead
• Thrive & are flexible in a growing, fast-paced, startup environment

Must Haves:

• At least 6 years of PR agency experience with entertainment, tech, lifestyle & D2C brands
• Strong national lifestyle, business and mainstream media relationships
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field & proven ability to manage large projects as well as small teams
• Expertise in core MS platforms such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Google Docs, MuckRack, Figma, Canva
