The Project Manager, Business Development will play a crucial role in developing and managing client relationships for all GORUCK Partnerships. The project manager will be responsible for fostering strategic partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships to drive growth and enhance partner retention. This person will also act as the client's main point of contact, ensuring clear and frequent communication, managing expectations, and addressing concerns promptly.
What You’ll Do
Project Management:
Coordinate with GORUCK, Partner and any third-party resources for the flawless execution of deliverables of both parties in accordance with the partnership agreement
Create, track and report on the partnership KPIs (to be mutually defined) and partnership deliverables
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including agendas, notes and progress reports
Ensure all activities have a clear owner and understanding of deliverables and resource allocation
Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
Relationship Management:
Serve as a point of contact for existing clients, addressing their needs and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships built on trust and value delivery
Proactively identify opportunities for existing clients to deepen and broaden the brand partnership
Monitor client satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns to ensure partner retention and loyalty
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to partners including development of marketing materials and campaigns to support business development efforts
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Place Partner product orders in Shopify and track spend for all partners
Forecast Partner VIK annually to track against budget allocation
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development initiatives
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of project management or account management experience
Proven experience driving complex projects to completion successfully
Ability to create, maintain, and report on objectives and key results
Preferred experience working within the e-commerce platform Shopify
Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
