Acutronic is looking for a Project Controls Analyst to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for project control efforts to include project Estimates at Completion (EAC), cost and schedule management, and project financial forecasting. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in an accounting, investment, or financial role.

Project Controls Analyst

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project management teams and senior management on various customer projects in an accounting, finance, and schedule related function
  • Support the project managers and sales team with proposal work to include preparing proposal schedules and generating customer cost and pricing documentation
  • Prepare, analyze, and effectively communicate actual financial results, forecasts, and budgets of assigned customer projects
  • Prepare and analyze project cost reports, including EAC’s and ETC’s, and project schedules
  • Calculate EVMS metrics, as required, for assigned customer projects
  • Master and make improvements to the scheduling process and Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Monitor the lifecycles of all projects to include adherence to the procedures and tools for the successful proposing, initiating, planning, executing, and closure

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an accounting, investment, or financial role
  • Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering corporation
  • Experience with EVMS is a plus
