RemX is seeking a Production Supervisor in the Plainfield, NJ area. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong mechanical skills, extensive hands-on problem-solving experience in manufacturing, and the ability to lead and collaborate across various departments.
$75K - $80K annual salary plus, full benefits, 401k match up to 6%, life insurance, annual bonus, PTO**
The Position:
Optimize productivity by managing personnel, workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation
Quickly address and resolve production issues to minimize downtime
Identify and fix recurring problems by working closely with leads and operators
Work with production and maintenance teams to develop and implement effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies
Mentor Area Leads to sustain improvements and enhance safety, quality, productivity, and delivery
Ensure accurate production reporting and inventory management

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on production supervision experience in manufacturing
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
Strong mechanical skills with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
Excellent leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching and mentoring
Strong team player, capable of building and maintaining relationships across various departments and organizational levels
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application in a manufacturing setting is a plus
Solid understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Experience with the extrusion process is a plus
