Job Description
- Client is looking for a Product Manager to collaboratively lead the DRO Program of work. The Product Manager will lead a high-performing product manager, configuration, and QA teams supporting the design and build of the DRO solution.
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline
- Must have 15+ years working in regional or provincial health care environments
- Must have demonstrated 10+ years as a Product Manager leading and delivering enterprise level products which includes familiarity with product backlog management and prioritization techniques
- Must have demonstrated managing IT system/infrastructure implementations
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex integrated clinical system environment
- Proven experience in successfully implementing and overseeing Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Certification in Agile/Scrum (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is highly desirable and preference will be given to certified candidates.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration and teamwork.
- Experience in creating an innovative and inclusive team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience in stakeholder management and addressing concerns effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to define KPIs and analyze performance metrics.
- Ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in identifying and managing risks associated with product development.
- Ability to develop effective mitigation strategies and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability in handling sensitive and challenging situations
- Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively with Senior Management team and Executives
- Excellent proficiency with MS Office toolsets (Word, Excel, Visio, Project)
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills dealing with senior executive and clinicians
- PROSCI or other Change Management certification desirable
