Job Summary:

As a Product Designer at HydroJug, you will play a key role in the product development process, collaborating closely with the VP of Operations and other cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for designing innovative and visually appealing products that align with our brand vision and meet the highest quality standards. Your creativity, attention to detail, and

passion for design will contribute to the success of our product offerings.


Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with the VP of Operations and other stakeholders to conceptualize and design products that align with brand vision and market trends

● Translate product concepts into detailed design specifications, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability

● Create sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and prototypes to visually communicate design concepts

● Conduct research to understand user needs, preferences, and market trends to inform the design process

● Develop and present design proposals, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary

● Work closely with the product development team to ensure design feasibility and successful execution

● Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to select appropriate materials and production techniques

● Conduct product testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and usability testing results

● Ensure design files and documentation are accurate and up to date for production purposes

● Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, material and design

advancements

● Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure design consistency across all touchpoints

● Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows within the company


Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

● Proven experience as a Product Designer or a related role in product development

● Strong portfolio showcasing product design skills, creativity, and attention to detail

● Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, and 3D modeling tools

● Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes

● Ability to generate and communicate design concepts through sketches, renderings, and prototypes

● Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and usability testing

● Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

● Excellent communication and presentation skills

● Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

● Flexibility to adapt to evolving design requirements and project timelines
