Private Equity Vice President

A lower middle market private equity firm is seeking a Private Equity Vice President to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing investments, driving growth strategies, and ensuring the overall success of our portfolio companies. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the private equity landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of investment opportunities.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment.
• Develop and implement value creation strategies for portfolio companies.
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams to drive operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the performance of portfolio companies, identifying key trends and opportunities.
• Manage relationships with investors, advisors, and industry partners.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Proven track record of successfully leading investment transactions and managing portfolio companies.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
